Al termine del corso, lo studente dovrà saper descrivere in modo chiaro e appropriato le conoscenze cliniche di base sulle patologie toraciche di interesse chirurgico. Il corso, quindi, è finalizzato ad un percorso formativo al termine del quale lo studente sarà in grado di elaborare percorsi diagnostico-terapeutici in pazienti affetti da patologie chirurgiche toraciche.
CAPACITÀ DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE
Al termine del corso, lo studente dovrà saper integrare i dati anamnestici con i segni clinici per formulare un sospetto diagnostico; interpretare i risultati degli esami di laboratorio e di imaging nel contesto del quadro clinico; applicare le linee guida basate sull'evidenza per la pianificazione di percorsi terapeutici appropriati.
AUTONOMIA DI GIUDIZIO
Al termine del corso, lo studente dovrà saper valutare criticamente la pertinenza e l'accuratezza dei dati clinici raccolti; analizzare le implicazioni etiche e legali connesse alle decisioni cliniche e al consenso informato; saper interpretare in modo critico la letteratura scientifica per l'aggiornamento della pratica medica.
ABILITÀ COMUNICATIVE
Al termine del corso, lo studente dovrà saper comunicare informazioni cliniche complesse al paziente in modo chiaro, empatico e comprensibile; redigere in modo sintetico e rigoroso cartelle cliniche, relazioni e referti medici; esporre casi clinici e risultati scientifici a interlocutori specialisti e non specialisti.
CAPACITÀ DI APPRENDERE
Al termine del corso, lo studente dovrà saper utilizzare banche dati bibliografiche per risolvere quesiti clinici emergenti; sviluppare un metodo di studio autonomo per il costante aggiornamento professionale

Lezioni frontali, flipped classroom, il clinical teaching, Durante il clinical teaching, verranno presentati agli studenti casi clinici che saranno portati avanti in modo interattivo e sotto la supervisione e la guida del docente. In tali occasioni, saranno trattate le varie fasi della gestione nella pratica clinica, dalla diagnosi alla terapia, e con ulteriori focus e approfondimenti riguardanti aspetti epidemiologici e fisiopatologici che ne emergono. La frequenza alle lezioni ed alle esercitazioni pratiche è obbligatoria e sarà registrata tramite app. È necessario avere almeno il 75% della frequenza per accedere all'esame di profitto

La valutazione delle competenze degli studenti si basa su un esame orale sugli argomenti dell'intero programma del corso. In particolare, saranno valutati: la capacità di connessione critica, la capacità di sintesi, la qualità dell'organizzazione e dell'esposizione del discorso, l'uso del lessico specialistico, la capacità di indagine medica. Si svolgerà con un colloquio articolato in domande sugli argomenti del programma, volto ad accertare il livello di conoscenza raggiunto dallo studente. Il voto finale sarà espresso in trentesimi e risulterà dalla media aritmetica dei voti conseguiti nelle due prove orali (Pneumologia e Chirurgia Toracica). Il voto finale è espresso in 30/30 (18/30 rappresenta il minimo e 30/30 il massimo)

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
At the end of the course, the student must be able to clearly and appropriately describe basic clinical knowledge on thoracic pathologies of surgical interest. The course, therefore, is aimed at a training path at the end of which the student will be able to develop diagnostic-therapeutic paths in patients suffering from thoracic surgical pathologies.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
At the end of the course, the student must be able to integrate anamnestic data with clinical signs to formulate a diagnostic suspicion; interpret laboratory and imaging test results within the context of the clinical picture; and apply evidence-based guidelines for planning appropriate treatment pathways.
MAKING JUDGMENTS
At the end of the course, the student must be able to critically evaluate the relevance and accuracy of the clinical data collected; analyze the ethical and legal implications associated with clinical decisions and informed consent; and critically interpret the scientific literature to update medical practice.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
At the end of the course, the student must be able to communicate complex clinical information to the patient in a clear, empathetic, and understandable manner; prepare concise and rigorous medical records, reports, and medical reports; and present clinical cases and scientific findings to specialist and non-specialist interlocutors
LEARNING SKILLS
At the end of the course, the student must be able to use bibliographic databases to solve emerging clinical questions; develop an autonomous study method for constant professional development

Passing the preparatory exams as decided by the Consiglio di Corso di Laurea.

Lectures, flipped classroom, clinical teaching. During clinical teaching, students will be presented with clinical cases that will be conducted interactively and under the supervision and guidance of the instructor. On these occasions, the various phases of management in clinical practice, from diagnosis to therapy, will be discussed, with further focus and insights into the epidemiological and pathophysiological aspects that emerge. Attendance at lessons and practical exercises is mandatory and will be recorded via the app. Student must have at least 75% attendance to access the profit exam

The assessment of students' skills is based on an oral examination of the topics of the entire course program. In particular, the following will be assessed: critical connection skills, synthesis skills, the quality of the organization and presentation of the speech, the use of specialized vocabulary, medical investigative skills. It will be conducted with an interview consisting of questions on the program's topics, aimed at assessing the student's level of knowledge. The final grade will be expressed in thirtieths and will result from the arithmetic mean of the grades obtained in the two oral tests (Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery). The final vote is expressed in 30/30 (18/30 represents the minimum and 30/30 the maximum)
